earn more about how to use the media players required for audio and video on this website. Need Help With The Audio Or Video?
The Ranch makes extensive use of audio and video so you can watch our live broadcasts, listen to music, play video clips, and more.
And you can see and hear it all - FOR FREE! All you need to do is download a free copy of one of the media players from the links below.
Windows Media Player
Window Media Player comes already installed on many new computers, so you may not need to do anything to use these clips. Just click a link under "WindowsMedia" and see if it plays. If so, great! If not, or if it plays with unusual glitches or frequently pauses during playback, you may need to upgrade to the latest player. These clips were encoder for WINDOWS MEDIA ENCODER 10 OR HIGHER. Although you can use earlier versions, the newer version work much better.
Since not everything on this site is available in WindowsMedia, you may want to install one of the other players below also. But we've encoded much of it already for WindowsMedia to make it easier for you to watch as much as possible.

RealPlayer
Everything on this site has been encoded using RealPlayer is another media player that has excellent playback quality. If you don't have WindowsMedia Player installed, try RealPlayer, as you'll be able to watch everything at The Ranch, even from the archives, which are not encoded in Windows Media.
If you've never tried it before, you'll want to take a look (it's worth it! REALLY!) In addition to the things you'll be able to do on our site, you'll also be able to see other things on the web, like watch TV programs and movie clips, and listen to radio stations around the world.
Just follow the link below to the company that makes the software and download the FREE version right now. You will also be offered a "Plus" version for a price, but I recommend you start with the free version to see if you like it. (The page may also offer you a FREE TRIAL...which is a 14-day or short time trial of the paid version...but choose FREE PLAYER instead, which is a lower-end version and will always be free, not asking for a credit card number, etc.)

Some Hints About Downloading
After you click "download" to download the software, you will need to "install" the programs. You only have to do this once - and it's not hard - but you have to remember where you saved the file and what the name of the file is.
To install the program after downloading it, point to your "Start" button on your screen (if you're using Windows), then "Run", then type or browse to the file you downloaded and press Enter. Follow the prompts on the screen to finish the installation.
Hope you can see us soon!
